'From the Clanging of Metal to the Clinking of Coin': Industry in Ulster

On 23 June 2021, the Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum is hosting a free online talk: 'From the clanging of metal to the clinking of coin: industry in Ulster'.
The talk will be given by Professor Steve Royle, emeritus professor at Queen's University Belfast. He has published widely on Belfast's industrial history.
This talk is part of a series presented by Lisburn and Castlereagh County Council to mark the Northern Ireland centenary. The series will run from April to November 2021 and will reflect on a range of centenary-related themes, including history, sports, industry, the arts and identity. The talks are all free to attend, and will be hosted online at 7pm.
