A newly developed trail app of Dublin brings the Easter Rising to life through images and information.

The Dublin Discovery Trails app addresses a number of themes across the city's history, including a section call 'Rebellion' which takes in the GPO, the Royal College of Surgeons, Moore Street, O'Rahilly Parade and Garden of Remembrance.

Other sections take in Dublin's rich heritage including Kilmainham Gaol, Collins Barracks and Trinity College - all areas with a connection to the Easter Rising.

The walking trails are accessible to visitors through Fáilte Ireland’s Dublin Discovery Trails app, which is available for free.
