In 2018, Mid-Ulster District Council hosted a special concert performance of 'Boys of the Island' at the Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore.

The commemorative event featured renowned composers and award winning musicians, Tracey McCrory, Richard Laird & a host of Mid Ulster musicians, including Donald Canavan & Andrew McGregor.

A specially commissioned piece was also performed by local musicians, paying tribute to the soldiers of Mid Ulster who fought & died during the First World War.

The concert was organised as part of the Council's Good Relations Programme and is available to view below.
