A 2017 update of the 'Decade of Anniversaries Toolkit', from the Northern Ireland Community Relations Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, has been developed as a resource for community and cultural groups, museums and heritage organisations, councils and departments considering commemorative projects or events around the Decade of Centenaries.

Both funding organisations understand the need and relevance to commemorate events from the recent and distant past in a way that unites society, rather than dividing it.

The 2017 revised toolkit features a wealth of background information, including details on how to plan and commemorate a 'Decade of Anniversaries' project as well as an extensive breakdown of a number of best practice case studies.
