A graphic novel looking at the life and impact of Lady Lilian Spender, the prolific diarist, is available to download and view.

The novel has been developed by the Nerve Centre’s Understanding the Decade of Commemorations project, in partnership with the Tower Museum, to mark the centenary of the partition of Ireland. It charts Lady Spender’s life and her eyewitness accounts of some of the most significant events of a century ago, including the Home Rule Crisis and the passage of the Anglo-Irish Treaty.

The graphic novel features an education pack for use in the classroom at Key Stage 3.
