Mid-Ulster Council's Decade of Anniversaries Talks Series
Mid-Ulster District Council have delivered a range of talks and lectures linked to the Decade of Centenaries since 2012, helping people from the council area and beyond to engage with the period.
Taking place at sites across the district, talks have been delivered by leading historians, academics and researches on topics such as the Ulster Covenant, the impact of the First World War and the Spanish Flu.
The series of talks and discussions deal with the historical facts that mark the key shifts in society that happened during this turning point in history and give meaning to the events that occurred across the divide, helping to promote a deeper understanding of our shared history and culture.
