Mná100
Mná100 is a dedicated website that explores the roles women played in the events leading up to partition and the formation of Northern Ireland, the Truce of July 1921, and the Civil War.
Launched by the the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, this major new online resource builds on previous initiatives to highlight the role of women in the decade of centenaries, and will also develop new collaborations and partnerships to reflect on key themes such as the role of women in advocating for Ireland internationally; the role of women’s organisations during the Campaign for Independence and the Civil War; women in the Oireachtas; and the stories of the pioneering women who were trailblazers within their chosen professions.
